New Schocken Kafka Editions

Irresistible.

Despite possessing alternative editions of these, they will be irresistible when published in June and July.

These editions will begin coming out in June and July- they are all paperbacks, with maybe a couple in hardcover as well- time will tell. I’m hoping we can do a box set for them after they all come out (which is already designed- and which has the complete parable “Before the Law” printed on the inside.)

  1. >I just love these; thanks for pointing them out. And there are several of them I don't own in other editions (the stories and diaries, and Amerika), so I feel I will be totally justified in starting my collection there.

  2. >I'm not sure yet which translations Schocken will use for Amerika, but the recent version translated by Mark Harman is outstanding. I prefer it to the Muirs.These look wonderful; I'm a sucker for a box set.
