    • Just means I read them already, but I do need to update this list with others I’ve read. Best recommendation of Manguel’s was to explore Stevenson’s work in more detail.

  2. Thank you for this list. I am currently working my way up to his book “A reading diary”. I am trying to read them in order to grasp better his reviews of them.
    And Stevenson is a very special author indeed. I havent read many of his books but “Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hide” and “The treasure Island” encouraged me to read more.

    • Despite Manguel’s (and Borges’) affection for Stevenson’s work, I’ve only read Treasure Island, something I must address some day.
